Join Jean in learning safe and effective techniques for opening up tense areas, scar tissue and increasing blood flow to the upper body. Through her myofascial release (MFR) techniques paired with yoga asanas (postures), you'll experience improved energy flow, balance in body and mind, and overall alignment.
This class will demonstrate safe, easy and inexpensive self myofascial release methods to recover and renew your upper body soft tissue. We will practice pinpoint muscle knot relief and massage the denser tissues of the body. Yoga asanas will follow the specific sites of release we will focus upon so you can learn how to achieve deeper and more productive results. In addition to the provided tools, please bring tools you already own such as foam rollers, massage balls, tennis balls and pressure point canes.
